DESCRIPTION OF VENUE: SANTOMMASO 10 is much more than the name of the historic restaurant of the Lavazza Group, and it is much more than a civic address.
It is the place where it all began, where Luigi Lavazza, about 128 years ago in 1895, opened his grocery store, specialized in the sale of coffee and where he experimented with the creation of what will be the first blends of history.
The historic restaurant reopens with a new layout, a tribute to the City of Turin and the world of Lavazza. At the helm there is a young Chef, Gabriele Eusebi, who will lead guests through Italy, to rediscover the genuine flavors of tradition, in a contemporary key.
THE COOK: Born in 1989 in Fermo. After studying at the hotel industry in Sant'Elpidio a Mare, he began a long apprenticeship in the kitchen that led him to work in Italian and foreign starred restaurants such as: "La Madonnina del Pescatore", "Osteria del Povero Diavolo", "Mugaritz" and "Condividere ". Tireless hunter of herbs, ferments and gastronomic pleasures. His appetite goes hand in hand with the visceral passion he has for novels and cookbooks. Back in the Marche region in 2019 he began working for the “Cantina Antisociale” of Petritoli and wrote his first book: "Selvario". Today he returns to Turin to lead the reopening after a careful restyling of the new Santommaso10 , a restaurant project in the historic center, where the entrepreneurial adventure of the founder Luigi Lavazza began with his first grocery store.
