Terra Madre Salone del Gusto is the world’s largest international festival dedicated to food politics, sustainable agriculture and the environment.
Held biennially in Torino, the festival welcomes hundreds of exhibitors and hundreds of thousands of visitors from across Italy and the world. The theme of this year’s edition is
regeneration, and how we can all shape the future of food together.
This year’s edition is taking place in a new location:
Parco Dora, a massive open-air, post-industrial park on the site of an old steelworks, whose pillars and roof remain intact.
The event is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 8.30 p.m.
from Thursday, September 22 to Monday, September 26. Most important of all:
it’s free! While there are some ticketed activities within the program, general access and the vast majority of the events are free and open to all.
Come and meet over 600 exhibitors representing every region of Italy and countries as far afield as Afghanistan, Latvia and Taiwan.
Among them we welcome 200 of our flagship projects to protect biodiversity: the Slow Food Presidia. Besides producers of chocolate, coffee and cheese we’ll also have a wide variety of exhibitors preparing food ready-to-eat to satisfy your appetite, with food trucks, street kitchens and craft breweries.
We will be present in the area of Regione Piemonte and Città di Torino.
