PARCO COLLETTA

The Parco Colletta is a 448,000 m² park in the city of Turin. The park, like the homonymous street, takes its name from Pietro Colletta (Naples 1775-Florence 1831) who was a general, politician and historian.

It includes: the river and its vegetation, the 140 regulated urban gardens managed by District 6, a cycle lane and pedestrian track along the entire route, an area equipped for picnics, a sports area with a volleyball and a five-a-side football pitch, and a play area, with huts and swings made of black locust wood, branches and roots: a truly unique park, from the choice of materials to the design of the areas the real protagonist here is nature.
