The exhibition, curated by the Musei Reali in collaboration with the Opera Barolo, celebrates the marquises Giulia and Carlo Tancredi Falletti di Barolo, prominent personalities of 19th-century Piedmontese society, illustrating their collecting taste, patronage and cultural interests, reconstructing the original nucleus of their collection through a selection of the 45 works of ancient art bequeathed in 1864 to the Royal Art Gallery, today the Sabauda Gallery, displayed in dialogue with paintings and sculptures once part of the same collection.
