The exhibition shows the results of research carried out by students in the courses of the history of modern art at the University of Torino on a selection of court portraits between the sixteenth and eighteenth centuries, belonging to the collections of the Royal Museums. It is divided into sections, which makes it possible to illustrate the different topics undertaken: the court and its entourage, genealogy, the equestrian portrait, marriage alliances, diplomatic ties.
