For the past four years, the St Martin’s Fair has been combined with the instrumental music festival Viuleta Soun: a festive day in which typical products and handicrafts are combined with the most authentic way of celebrating the feast, music.

Groups of musicians from all over the Alps meet and enrich the day with their string instruments, brass instruments and accordions. The locals, dressed in traditional costumes, dance, 7 Pro Loco (local tourist boards) from the valleys offer their specialities, restaurants present typical menus at special prices, and tourists, moving among the exhibitors at the fair, taste autumn sweets, buy honeys, alpine cheeses, cold meats and dampen the first chills with mulled wine and chocolate.
