The Reggia di Venaria is once again hosting contemporary art with the exhibition
Le rose di Stefano Di Stasio, which displays 17 oils on canvas by
Stefano Di Stasio, one of the pioneers of the return to figurative painting at the turn of the 1970s and 1980s, radically in contrast to the zeroing out operated by the last neo-avant-gardes of the 1970s.
The artist proposes a visionary art that, although with a very precise narrative realism, outlines a dimension far removed from the time of the chronicle, almost metaphysical, certainly enigmatic.
