The project takes its name from one of the Magro’s catchphrases that have made the duo’s commentaries - Riccardo Magrini and Luca Gregorio - famous to all cycling fans: when the Magro gets a prediction right or anticipates a tactical turn taken by the race, the classic ’because you see, old dog knows’ starts. Hence the inspiration for ’Cane vecchio sa-und’, an idea born of the duo’s shared passion for cycling. The show is preceded by a pre-booked dinner with tales, anecdotes and behind-the-scenes stories of the great cyclists.
