For Music Day 2024, the National University Library inaugurates its new courtyard. For the occasion, the musicians of the Contrametric Ensemble will perform Antonio Vivaldi’s most famous cycle of compositions: ’The Four Seasons’, introduced by Maestro Carlo Maria Barracano. The Festa della Musica della Nazionale is a tribute to nature, the cyclical nature of the seasons and the soundscape painted by Vivaldi’s compositions, of which the Turin institute holds the world’s most important manuscript corpus of documents.
