Time Square. Art in the Square Transcends Time is the brainchild of artist and Artistic Director Alessandro Bulgini and aims to investigate the connections between art and life, exploring frictions and convergences, specifically between advertising signs and works of art as they occur in contemporary squares. The exhibition takes its cue from the famous square in New York, changing its name to Time Square, where the words "time" and "square" collide and recompose in new meanings: the American square is the clear symbol of aggressive modernity and humanity in transformation. A dialogue, or rather a match, developed in sixteen rooms representing sixteen hypothetical squares.
