Born in 2018 from the "La Notte degli archivi" format, Archivissima is the first Italian festival dedicated to the promotion and valorisation of the heritage and stories preserved in the historical archives of organisations, institutions and companies through a mixture of different languages and media.

In 2024 the event reaches its seventh edition, confirming its commitment to the search for experimental languages and channels of expression at the service of knowledge and access to primary sources, as an example of participatory democracy.
