The GAM (Gallery of Modern Art) in Torino is happy to present the exhibition dedicated to Claudio Parmiggiani (Luzzara, 1943), the fourth event of the exhibition cycle born from the collaboration between the Historical Archives of Biennale di Venezia and VideotecaGAM, aimed at witnessing the initial season of the Italian art videos.

The exhibition presents Delocazione, the only video work created by Parmiggiani, produced by Art/Tapes/22 of Firenze in 1974, together with two capital works in the development of his work, coming from the Maramotti Collection of Reggio Emilia: the photographic print on board Delocazione 2 of 1970 and Self-portrait of 1979, a shadow silhouette reproduced on canvas, also a unique work in the artist’s career.
