On the occasion of the Nitto ATP Finals of Torino 2021, as part of the “Torino and women” exhibition, the Civic Historical Archives inaugurates a new section devoted to tennis stars: female stars, pioneer women active between the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries who, by breaking the traditional schemes, have favoured, with their determination (and with the great interest created around them), the change in the role of women, not only in the field of sports.
