Exhibition devoted to the work of one of the most important and famous Italian photographers: Gianni Berengo Gardin (Santa Margherita Ligure, 1930). The exhibition project highlights the intensity of the professional relationship between the photographer and the Ivrea-based company, through a careful, almost unpublished selection of over 70 vintage black and white photographs, publications and other archival documents rethought according to a choice which outlines two nuclei: a formal one which investigates the theme of the value of the architectural project (industrial, residential, social, etc.); a second one that more explicitly translates a social system of relationships inside and outside the factory. Berengo Gardin, in fact, is one of the authors who has collaborated the longest with Olivetti, describing his photographic services both via the social value of the architectural project and the organization of a system of social and cultural services that animated the factory and the territory.
