“Scena 1312”, the musical and theatrical season of Bardonecchia will start once again this year with a rich and interesting program: musicians, actors, dancers and artists will offer numerous shows for all ages, starting July 25th until August 22nd, 2020. Admission is free but reservation is required.
Bardonecchia becomes “Scena”, the scene of excellence at an altitude of 1312 m, where theatre, music, and art become journeys to see beyond, and to observe the world from a different perspective: here ideas, projects and dreams can be exchanged.
The “home” of the festival is the Palazzo delle Feste. These are the main events: Wednesday 5th, “La musica dentro”, Wednesday 12th “Il bar sotto la montagna” by Stefano Benni, Friday 14th “Voglio rinascere in cima al Ban” (book presentation) and “Growin’up. Bruce Springsteen”, Sunday 16th “How does it feel? Something about Bob Dylan”, Tuesday 18th “Wild years. Tom Waits”, Saturday 22nd “Fantasticche. Donne ordinarie e straordinarie”.
In the outdoor setting of Piazza Valle Stretta: Thursday 6th “Accordi disaccordi. A midnight in Bardo”, Friday 7th “Mediterranea Trio. La Spagna e F.G. Lorca”, Saturday 8th “Cafè Express. Una storia di emigrazione italiana” and Thursday 20th “Birkin Tree. Musica Irlandese”.
On Sunday 9th don’t miss the nice “Cene in bianco & rosso” with animation in Borgo Vecchio and Via Medail, the same street where, on Saturday 15th, the festive afternoon “Ferragosto in musica” will take place. Also, Tuesday 11th don’t miss an escape in the hamlet of Rochemolles with the itinerant show “Lupus in tabula”.
