The first large scale exhibition dedicated to the Italian master of the thrill, tracing his long career with a journey through all his films with hundreds of pictures, stills and unedited photographs, installations, scenery props, music, placards, costumes, videos, memorabilia and comparisons with today’s television and cinema productions. Dario Argento has established such an innovative style that he has been variously honoured (De Palma, Tarantino, Carpenter to mention just a few) and imitated, but never equalled; his connection with Torino is very close: he directed his first works here and “Profondo rosso”, considered by many to be his masterpiece.
