This exhibition presents an exceptional collection of Renaissance majolica produced by Italia’s most prestigious manufacturers, for the first time reuniting over 200 masterpieces from some of the world’s most important private collections as well as that of Madama Palace. The fascinating history of Italian majolica in its golden era - from the second half of the 1400s to the first half of the 1500s - is told in Torino by an exceptional curator: art historian Timothy Wilson, in collaboration with Cristina Maritano, conservator of Madama Palace for Decorative Arts.
