The exhibition offers the public a fascinating journey from the
first studies of human anatomy, of which Leonardo was a forerunner, to the discovery of X-rays and radioactivity, to the invention of increasingly powerful and precise technologies such as computer tomography, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging,
PET: technologies thanks to which scientific research has completely revolutionized our knowledge of vital processes and of the intimate structure of our bodies.
Visitors will immerse themselves in this fascinating inner landscape, into the brain and the maze made up of billions of neuronal connections, where the secret of our mind is hidden. And from there, they will discover how, with increasingly sophisticated tools, we try to repair our body, to recreate artificial organs or even to reproduce intelligent behaviours.
