The Don Bosco Trail extends over more than 160km from the centre of Torino to Colle Don Bosco along three routes: the “High walk” - passing through the Basilica of Superga, the Abbey of Vezzolano and Castelnuovo Don Bosco -, the “Medium walk”- crossing Baldissero Torinese, Pavarolo, Montaldo Torinese, Marentino and passing by Lake Arignano -, the “Low walk”- passing through the parks of the Torino hills, Pecetto Torinese, Chieri and Buttigliera d’Asti.
Between September and October 2019 three excursions are proposed, all starting at 9.30am: events between art and landscapes, wines and good food.
On Sunday 22 September: Nordic walking courses, cured meats and honeys from the hills and Bonarda and Cari wines, excursion to Moncucco Castle; on Sunday 29 September: Nordic walking courses, orchards, cheeses from the hills, Freisa di Chieri and Malvasia wines, excursion to Lake Arignano; on Sunday 13 October: Nordic walking courses, autumn “panettone” and the sparkling wines of the hills, excursion in the hills of Cinzano.
