DESCRIPTION OF VENUE:
Next to one of the city's most emblematic squares, in a 15th-century building with carefully designed interiors and a sober contemporary style, "Unforgettable" was born, Italy's first table-less restaurant. Guests are welcomed by a ten-seat counter where they can share an unforgettable culinary experience, and where chef Christian Mandura offers his guests a two-hour tasting session during which they will be served Italian dishes linked to tradition, but renewed and hyper-contemporary, with dishes to be eaten with the hands and others with cutlery. A face-to-face encounter at the counter between the restaurateur and the customer, who can then concentrate exclusively on the dishes and the tasting.
THE COOK:
Christian Mandura, an up-and-coming chef from northern Italy, landed in Turin in 2018 after years in the provinces to make a name for himself and reach the hearts of citizens with his ever-evolving cuisine. He took his first steps in the family restaurant "Il Geranio" in the hills of Turin and continued his training at "Ristorante del Cambio" in Turin and at Noma in Copenhagen before returning to the city with the intention of making sense of the new Italian cuisine through a return to the practical side of cooking.
