and their respective rivers, and which extends to the eastern side of the Alpi Graie, is included in the
Gran Paradiso National Park, Italy's first.
The two valleys diverge at
Pont Canavese, the most important town together with
Cuorgnè and then, rising towards the highest peaks of Turin's province, they
cross lush woods,
meadows,
mountain pastures and many characteristic mountain villages such as
Ceresole Reale and
Ronco Canavese.
