The
Officine Grandi Riparazioni is one of the most important examples of 19th century industrial architecture in the city. From the 1990s of the 20th century, it had engaged in the maintenance of railway vehicles, and covered an area of 35,000 sq. m.
Restored thanks to the commitment and funds of the Fondazione CRT, the new
OGR will host
exhibitions,
shows,
concerts,
theater and
dance events, workshops, start-ups, and virtual realities, a unique European model of industrial reconversion to make artistic research coexist with technological research:
the workshops of culture, ideas and innovation.
