The church of Santa Maria di Piazza, in the centre of Torino just a short distance away from the Consolata and the Duomo, is the sanctuary of the adoration of the city and is in the care of the Fathers of the Congregation of the Priests of the Holy Sacrament (Sacramentini SSS), founded by San Pier Giuliano Eymard in 1856 and approved by the Holy See on 3 June 1864. Other appointments: the Adoration for the Priests on the first Tuesday of the month, 9pm to 10pm; the Adoration for the Consacrate on the second Sunday of the month, 3pm-4pm; the Night of prayer the first Friday of the month, 9pm, Mass and Adoration of the Eucharist for everyone until 6am on the morning of Saturday, led by the regular deacons of the city with the intention of prayer for new priesthoods and religious vocations, put in place by the Archbishop Cardinal Poletto; the Adoration of the Eucharist at night for everyone on the fourth Saturday of the month from 9pm to midnight.
