In the Sassi station of the rack railway to Superga there is a
room with a small GTT company museum.
At the centre of the exhibition is the
horse-drawn tramway No. 197 from 1880, while along the tour you can see some memorabilia and many pictures of the history of transport in Turin. The museum, which was founded in 2003 and will be refurbished with the collaboration of ATTS in summer/autumn 2021, offers an itinerary that is divided into thematic areas.
The museum also features a model of the Sassi station set in the 1990s, a tram assembly hall and other large-scale objects.
