The
Village Leumann - founded by the Swiss entrepreneur Napoleon Leumann -, in addition to the habitations for workers and employees of the cotton mill (two-storey small villas with gardens), including the boarding school for young women workers, the baths, the hotel, the infirmary, the post office, the train station, the kindergarten, the primary school, the church, the circle for the employees and the food market.
Closed the factory in 1972, the City of Collegno bought the Village, today an important document with the urban, historic and architectural characteristics, and it continues to live: the houses are inhabited, service facilities have a public function (Civic Library, CTS, Senior Centre…), the post office, the school and the church keep the original functions.
