ORTO BOTANICO DI TORINO

The gardens were established in 1729 at the request of Victor Amadeus II of Savoy in order to illustrate the flora, its uses and origins.
The visit includes a narrative of the garden’s history and an examination of the family’s flower-beds for edible, ornamental and medicinal plants, the themed collections and the Grove.
A tour for blind and visually-impaired persons is available.

Guided tours for individuals and non-organised groups. These are included in the entrance fee and take place on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays; duration about one hour. Entrance to the Garden for a walk on your own is, however, only permitted without a reservation during the period when the Garden is open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays..
GROUPS: advance booking required by calling 3389581569.
