The historic headquarters of the Società Generale fra gli Operai di Pinerolo, Italy’s first mutual aid society, is home to the Museum which presents its activities and concepts of reciprocity and solidarity, in addition to displaying materials (flags, documents) from the archives of the ancient Società dei Calzolai (Shoemakers’ Guild), revealing the development in craftwork and the role of workers in the social life of Pinerolo.
