The museum is located in the old Caserma Fenulli (Barracks) and covers five thousand square metres, spread over 3 floors and 33 halls where memorabilia covering the period from 1861 to date can be admired: uniforms, decorations, arms and drays and an extensive photographic itinerary.
With the aim of celebrating the
200th anniversary of the Cavalry School and the historical uniqueness of Pinerolo, the museum has set up a gallery dedicated to the school itself and refurbished the room dedicated to Master Federigo Caprilli. Through the narration of its spaces and its protagonists, it offers visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in a historical journey that allows them to relive the period of the Cavalry School, its splendour and what the ’School’ has represented for the world and for Pinerolo through 200 years of history.
