How do the Torino+Piemonte Cards work?
At the ticket office of the museums where the free entrance is offered
: the Card must be shown to obtain the ticket; the Card is equipped with a microchip, therefore it is automatically activated with the first swipe at the participating museums offering free entrance and it is valid for the following 24, 48, 72, 120 consecutive hours; the child under 12 accompanying the Card owner enters for free.
At the ticket office of the museums where the reduced ticket is offered
: the Card must be shown to obtain the ticket, the Card holder pays directly. Also the child under 12 accompanying the Card owner gets a benefit.
At the tourist services of Turin run by GTT company (Gruppo Torinese Trasporti)
: it must be shown at the counter to get the reduced ticket. The Tourist Services are free for children under 6, while for those aged 6-12 -accompanied by a Card owner- a second reduced ticket can be purchased. If a
Pass for the Tourist Services
has been bought, the access is free .
At the desk of the other participating attractions in the whole region
the Card must be shown before payment to get the benefit and it is valid also for one child under 12 accompanying the Card owner.

How are the Torino+Piemonte Cards activated?
The Card must be filled in on the back with first and last name of its holder: it can be used only by the person named on it. The Card has a microchip so it is automatically activated with the first swipe in one of the museums where the free entrance is offered, remaining valid for the following 24, 48, 72, 120 consecutive hours, depending on the type of Card purchased.

Which museums are included?
The Torino+Piemonte Card offers free admission in 60 cultural sites including the most important museums, exhibitions, castles, fortresses and Royal Residences in Torino and all over Piemonte.
Within its duration, the Card entitles to free access to the attractions in the order preferred by the holder.
The 1-day version is valid for a maximum of three free entries in the participating museums and is on sale only at the TICs of Torino,
within its duration of 24 hours and is on sale only at the TICs of Turin
.
All the Card versions are valid also for discounted ticket in other 50 cultural sites and for reductions all over Piemonte.

Which means of transports are included?
The Torino+Piemonte Card entitles to a reduced ticket on the
Tourist Services of Turin
every day
: City SightSeeing open bus, panoramic lift in the Mole Antonelliana, boats on the river Po (
service suspended
), Sassi - Superga rack tramway and “Venaria Express” shuttle bus (
only Sat., Sun. and holidays
). The reduction can be applied every day to the Card owner and to an accompanying child aged 6-12.
On the “Venaria Express” shuttle bus to the Reggia di Venaria and Parco della Mandria, the Card owner can purchase on board the reduced daily ticket only on Sat., Sun. and holidays; moreover, Tuesday to Friday it is possible to travel with the multi-day or ordinary ticket usually valid on urban and suburban transport.
Children under 6 enjoy GTT tourist services for free.
If a
Pass for the Tourist Services
has been purchased, free access is granted every day to the panoramic lift in the Mole Antonelliana, to the boats on the river Po (
service suspended
), to the Sassi - Superga rack tramway and to the “Venaria Express” shuttle bus. Any Torino+Piemonte Card can be combined with the Pass, that costs € 6,00 and lasts 3 days (only available duration).

Please note
: to travel for free with all
urban and suburban public transports of Turin
(buses, trams, subway) the Card holders can buy a multi-day ticket available at special fare for the 2 and 3-day versions: The offer is on sale only at the TICs of Turin paying the difference (4,50 € instead of 7,50 € for two days and 6,00 € instead of 10,00 € for 3 days).
Children aged 3-11 are entitled to travel for free with the whole GTT transport network, yet having a personal card that can be purchased (3,00 €) at the
GTT Customer Care Centres
; it will expire at age 11 (source GTT).

Is it worth buying the Torino+Piemonte Cards?
Yes! The average cost of entrance in the five most visited museums is 15.20 € , so you save money from the third free attraction included in the Cards!

Note that National Museums and Municipal Museums of Turin offer free admission to people under age 18.
For under 18, take advantage of the convenient 2-day Torino+Piemonte Card Junior to obtain free admission in 60 cultural sites in Turin and all over Piemonte.
During particular events (Week of Culture, Primavera dei Musei...) museums might have very reduced rates or even free access.
The ticket for the tourist services of Torino during week-ends costs 9.00 € (panoramic lift in the Mole Antonelliana, Sassi - Superga rack tramway and “Venaria Express” shuttle bus); at the Tourist Offices of Torino or on line you can buy, at a special rate and only in combination with a Card, the 3-day Pass for the Tourist Services at 6.00 € for the adults and 2.50 € for children (6-12).The Pass is a bargain if at leasrt two tourist services are exploited; otherwise you can enjoy the discounted rate (4.00 € / 5.00 according to the chosen service) showing the Card.
The ticket to ride on public transports (buses, trams, subway) costs 1.50 € and lasts 90 minutes; at the Tourist Offices of Torino or on line you can buy, at a special rate and only in combination with a Card, the tickets for the urban and suburban transports of Torino. The offer is available in the following versions: 1 day (3.00 € instead of 5,00 €), € 2 days version (4.50 € instead of 7.50 €) and 3 days version (6.00 € instead of 10.00 €); the tickets are valid to reaxch the Royal Residences of Venaria, Stupinigi, Rivoli and the tram track to go to Superga.

Does the Torino+Piemonte Card allow to skip the lines at the entrance of the museums?
As of today, there is no queue skipping privilege for the Card; it is therefore necessary to go to the ticket office to collect the free admittance ticket.
7.
In case I bought it on line, is the Card shipped to my address?
There is no shipping of the Cards bought on our website. It is necessary to go to our Tourist Offices in Torino (
Piazza Castello or Piazza Carlo Felice
) and show the printed voucher emailed to you to collect the purchased Cards

Are there discounts for seniors, military, students or groups?
There are no discounts for these categories; still Torino+Piemonte Card Junior is dedicated to under 18. On request special rates are offered for groups, employees recreational circles, Travel Agencies and Tour Operators. Moreover, if you are planning a school trip in Piemonte, ask for reductions dedicated to students!

Can the Torino+Piemonte Card be refunded ?
The Cards are never refunded. However, if they have not been activated yet, they can be used any time until 31/12/2017. In addition, the Cards are not refundable in case of theft, loss or unuse of the advantages offered.
10.
Are there days when the Torino+Piemonte Card cannot be used?
No; the Card is valid during business days but museums are usually closed on Mondays. Should the participating organizations have to close for any special reasons (strikes or holidays) the validity and duration of the Card will not be extended and it will not be reimbursed.
