Between Cesana Torinese and Claviere, in the San Gervasio gorges, in a natural landscape of exceptional beauty for its environmental, naturalistic and geological peculiarities, it is possible to experience the thrill of crossing the Tibetan bridge. The walkway is 544 metres long and consists of a succession of three bridges over the Piccola Dora stream at a height of about 70 metres from the ground, the first bridge, at a height of 30 metres, the second bridge, and at a height of about 90 metres, the last bridge. The walkway consists of a succession of metal planks and the hiker’s safety is entrusted to two lateral ropes acting as handrails and a rope above where the safety carabiner runs. All persons, even without great sporting ability, can cope with crossing the bridge. For children, a minimum age of 6 years and a minimum height of 1.20 m are required. To cross the bridge, it is necessary to be equipped with a harness, helmet and via ferrata set. There is a chalet in the bridge access area where you pay for access to the bridge and can hire the necessary equipment. The chalet is at the entrance to Claviere coming from Cesana Torinese at the first roundabout. From the chalet, a downhill path in the direction of the San Gervasio chapel leads in 15 minutes to the start of the bridge. Average travelling time of the bridges: 1 hour 30 minutes.
